Day one at the beach house consisted of getting settled in and visiting the grocery store, where everyone who worked there said hello to you, such a change from Miami, although our cashier did seem like he hated his life. In the afternoon I took some pictures of the house and the surrounding area.
See, not so "wee".... I don't see why the owners have called this place the Wee Blue Inn. But it is blue... so there you go.
I wanted to take some pictures of the view from the house so I went out back and started to snap some pictures of the surf. It is so awesome being near the waves and watching them crash on the shore. I wanted to get a picture of all the beaches houses lined up on the shore so I pointed my camera to the left. I took a few shots, and then I heard someone talking to me. It turns out the a couple two houses down was out by their pool sunbathing. I swear to you I did not even see them, but they saw me and said, "Hey should we pose?" I laughed and told them I hadn't even seen them and that they weren't in the pictures. But the man had to add, "Boy, you must not have anything to take pictures of if you are taking pictures of us." Ok, so at this point, I obviously wasn't taking pictures of them, but it just got awkward since they were starring at me. So I took my last picture and went inside. This morning as I was looking through the pictures I had taken, lo and behold the couple has ended up in my pictures.
