Having never rented a storage unit before I really didn't know what to expect, but it's not so bad, I got one on the first floor (after some advice from Nick, who recommended that this was the smart way to go after having to carry all his friends' stuff because an elevator broke, plus it was only 5 dollars more to have the first floor versus one higher up. So really how could you go wrong?
And I got an air conditioned one, because in Miami who knows what might melt or what kind of mold might grow if you leave things exposed to the elements. Overall, I feel quite satisfied with my choice. I am glad that Mom talked me into getting the bigger one. As you can see there isn't any chance my stuff would have fit in the 5 x 5. Arranging the stuff in the unit was like putting a puzzle together! I just hope that nothing falls over. It reminds me of the Room of Requirement in Harry Potter when Harry needs a place to hide something- all those boxes and random things stacked on top of one another- I just hope I will be able to remember where I have put everything in case I really need something. But, the good news is as well that the whole storage unit experience should only last about a month. I am scheduled to have the closing for my house on August 31st.

1. Did you play the Tetris theme while you stacked everything in (Because I surely would have)?
2. Calvin Also has a room of requirement on the 3rd floor of the library. It provided engineers with everything we needed for late night studies for the Fundamentals of Engineering exam. :)
