As you might know Florida is expecting to experience Tropical Storm Fay sometime tomorrow possibly, maybe it might turn into a hurricane by then, but i am hoping it doesn't. Really the weather hasn't been too bad today, just a lot of rain, so we see shall see what tomorrow brings. However, I was supposed to be in Northern Florida today for Warrior Week, but due to the storm Warrior Week has been cancelled, which means I basically have another week to plan before school starts. That is good and bad, I guess, I can get some more things done that i won't have to worry about now during the first week of school. I was really looking forward to Warrior Week as the end of summer, and so I was a little upset yesterday when I found out we wouldn't be going, also i am getting ready to not plan anymore and just teach. I have a feeling that this week is going to crawl by, already I feel that today has been moving very slowly.
Conditions right now are a light rain, but that may change. The electricity works for now, and really that is the only thing I am worried about. We have hurricane proof windows on the apartment so that is a relief, and we are not looking at a major hurricane here. I am praying that everything turns out all right. Please pray for me too, as I have never experienced any kind of tropical storm or hurricane and I really have no idea what to expect. I will keep you updated on the storm's progress.
